I qualified as a dramatherapist in 2009, am registered with the Health and Social Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth). I am also a CAST (Creative Arts Supervision Training) trained approved clinical supervisor and a member of the CAST Forum.

Experience
I have over fifteen years’ experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in different capacities as a dramatherapist, drama practitioner, ABA therapist, University student mentor and youth worker.
Since qualifying as a dramatherapist, I have worked in education and private practice both in person and online. I have set up dramatherapy in schools, provided staff counselling and worked in a variety of community settings. For 8 years I project co-ordinated and collaborated with an art therapist, at an after-school club, in delivering therapeutic and multi-sensory group sessions for children and young people with mild to severe learning difficulties.
My specialist areas are: Mental health conditions, abuse, attachment difficulties, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, stress, challenging behaviours, low self-esteem/self-confidence, disabilities (visible/non-visible), relationship difficulties, transracial post adoption and early trauma and parenting support. I also work with families e.g. dyadically with siblings/parent and child.
I am registered on the online DBS update service and have professional liability insurance.
