Experience

I have over fifteen years’ experience working with children and young people in different capacities as a dramatherapist, drama practitioner, ABA therapist and youth worker.

Since qualifying as a dramatherapist, I have worked in education and a private practice both in person and online.  I have set up dramatherapy in schools, provded staff counselling and worked in a variety of community settings.  For 8 years I co-ordinated and collaborated with an art therapist, at an after-school club, in delivering therapeutic and multi-sensory group sessions for children and young people with mild to severe learning difficulties.

My specialist areas are: Children and young people, adults, groups, SEND, transracial adoption, twins, attachment difficulties, domestic abuse, divorce and separation, bereavement and loss, selective mutism, anxiety and trauma. I also specialise in working dyadically with siblings and a parent and child.

I am registered on the online DBS update service and have professional liability insurance.
