I qualified as a dramatherapist in 2009, am registered with the Health and Social Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth). I am also a CAST (Creative Arts Supervision Training) trained approved clinical supervisor and a member of the CAST Forum.

Experience
I have over fifteen years’ experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in different capacities as a dramatherapist, drama practitioner, ABA therapist, University student mentor and youth worker.
Since qualifying as a dramatherapist, I have worked in education and private practice both in person and online. I have set up dramatherapy in schools, provided staff counselling and worked in a variety of community settings. For 8 years I project co-ordinated and collaborated with an art therapist, at an after-school club, in delivering therapeutic and multi-sensory group sessions for children and young people with mild to severe learning difficulties.
My specialist areas are: Early childhood trauma, attachment difficulties, transracial post adoption and special guardian support, therapeutic parenting support, neurdevelopmental conditions i.e. Autism and ADHD, bereavement and loss, anxiety and depression, stress, challenging behaviours, low self-esteem/self-confidence and relationship difficulties.
I am registered on the online DBS update service and have professional liability insurance.
